¹⁷ And when he entered into the house and left the people, his disciples asked him about the parable. ¹⁸ And he said to them, Are you also without understanding? Do you not perceive, that whatever enters into the man from without, it cannot defile him; ¹⁹ Because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and is eliminated? Thus he declared all foods clean.

¹⁹ Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? ²⁰ For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

¹⁸ And do not be drunk with wine, which is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit;
