¹ Then the Lorde sayed vnto Abram. Get the out of thy contrye and frome thy kyndred, and oute of thy fathers house, into a Lande whyche I wyll shewe the. ² And I wyll make of the a myghty people, and wyll blesse the, and make thy name greate, that thou maiste be a blessynge.

²¹ And the Lord went before them by daye in a pyler of a clowde to leade them the waye: and by nyghte in a pyler of fyre to geue them lyght: that they myght goo both by day and nyght.

⁴ Though I should walke now in the valley of the shadow of death, yet I feare not euel for thou arte with me: thy staffe & thy shepehoke comforte me.

¹⁰ There shall no euell happen vnto the, neither shall any plage come nye thy dwelling. ¹¹ For he shall gyue his aungels charge ouer the, to kepe the in all thy wayes. ¹² They shall beare the in their handes, that thou hurt not thy fote agaynst a stone.

⁶ Seke the Lorde, whyle he maye be founde, & call vpon hym whyle he is nye. ⁷ Let the vngodly man forsake his wayes & the vnrighteous his ymaginacions, & turne agayne vnto the Lorde: so shall he be mercyfull vnto him: & to oure God, for he is redy to forgeue. ⁸ For thus saith the Lorde: my thoughtes are not youre thoughtes, & youre wayes are not my wayes, ⁹ but as farre as the heauens are hyer then the earth, so farre do my wayes exceade yours, and my thoughtes yours. ¹⁰ And lyke as the rayne & snowe commeth doune from heauen, & returneth not thyther agayne, but watereth the earthe, maketh it frutefull and grene, that it maye geue corne and breade vnto the sower: ¹¹ So the worde also that commeth oute of my mouthe shall not turne agayne voyde vnto me, but shall accomplysh my wil & prospere in the thinge, whereto I sende it. ¹² And so shall ye go forth with ioye, & be led with peace. The mountaynes & hilles shal sing with you for ioye, and all the trees of the feld shall clappe theyr handes. ¹³ For thornes, there shall growe. Fyrre trees, & the Myrre tre in the steade of breres. And thys shall be done to the prayse of the Lorde, and for an euerlasting token, that shall not be taken awaye.

¹³ Enter in at the strayte gate: for wide is the gate and broade is the way that leadeth to destruction: and many there be whiche go in therat. ¹⁴ But strayt is the gate, and narrowe is the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: & feawe there be that fynde it.

²⁰ Teachyng then to obserue all thynges whatsoeuer I commaunded you, And lo I am with you alwaye, euen vntyll the ende of the worlde.

¹⁵ If any mannes worke burne, he shall suffer losse: but he shalbe safe him selfe: neuerthelesse yet as it were thorow fyre.

⁸ The Lorde preserueth thy goyng out and thy commynge in, from thys tyme forth for euer more.

³³ But rather seke ye first the kyngdome of heauen and the rightuousnes therof, & all these thynge shalbe ministred vnto you.

²⁸ Come vnto me all ye that labour and are laden and I wyll ease you. ²⁹ Take my yocke on you and learne of me, for I am meke and lowly in herte: and ye shall fynde reste vnto your soules. ³⁰ For my yocke is easy: and my burden is lyght.

⁶ If thou teachest a child in his youth what waye he shuld go, he shal not leaue it when he is old

²⁵ Therfore I saie vnto you, be not tareful for you life what ye shall eate or what ye shall dryncke, nor yet for your bodye, what ye shall put on, is not the lyfe more worthe then meate, and the body more of value then rayment? ²⁶ Behold the foules of the ayer: for the sowe not, neyther reape, nor yet cary into the barnes: and yet your heauenlye father fedethe them. Are ye not muche better then they? ²⁷ Whych of you (though he toke thoughte therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto hys statuture? ²⁸ And why care ye then for rayment? Considre the lylies of the filde, howe they growe. They laboureth not nether spynne. ²⁹ And yet for all that I saye vnto you that euen Solomon in all hys royaltie was not arayed lyke vnto one of these. ³⁰ Wherfore if God so clothe the grasse, which is to day in the felde, and to morowe shall be cast in to the fournace: shall he not much more do the same vnto you, o ye of lytle fayth? ³¹ Therfore take no thought saiynge: what shall we eate, or what shall we dryncke, or wherewith shal we be clothed? ³² After all these thynges seke the gentils. For your heauenlye father knoweth that ye haue neade of all these thynges. ³³ But rather seke ye first the kyngdome of heauen and the rightuousnes therof, & all these thynge shalbe ministred vnto you. ³⁴ Care not then for the morow, but let the morow care for itself: for the day present hath euer ynough of his owne trouble.

³⁸ Yea and I am sure that neyther death, neither life, neyther angels, nor rule, neythere power, neythere thinges presente, neyther thynges to come, ³⁹ neyther heyght, neyther loweth, neyther any other creature? shall be able to depart vs from the lowe of God, shewed in Christ Iesu our Lord.

⁵ Put thy trust in the Lord wyth all thyne hert, and leane not vnto thyne own vnderstandinge. ⁶ In all thy wayes haue respecte vnto hym, & he shal ordre thy goinges.

¹⁰⁵ Nun. Thy woorde is a lanterne vnto my fete and a light vnto my pathes.

¹¹ For I knowe what I haue deuysed for you sayeth the Lorde. My thoughtes are to geue you peace, and not trouble (whiche I geue you all redye) & that ye might haue hope agayn.
