¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate; the gate that leadeth to destruction is broad, and the way is open, and they who pass through are numerous. ¹⁴ but the gate which leads to life is narrow, and the way is difficult, and few there be that find it.

¹⁹ repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, who shall send Jesus Christ, ²⁰ who has been beforehand prepar'd thereto, ²¹ but must reside in heaven, till the time of the restitution of all things, of which God has spoken from the beginning by the mouth of his holy prophets.

¹⁰ the thief comes only to steal, to kill, and destroy: but I am come that they might have life, and have it with all its advantages.

¹¹ Consider likewise the present season, that now it is high time to rouse out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed.

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do infinitely above what we ask or comprehend, by his power operating in us,

¹³ to these things I am equal, thro' Christ who strengthens me.
