¹⁵ Now then, if your brother is at fault with you, go and rebuke him alone; if he listens to you, then you have won your brother.

⁴ So that your alms may be done secretly, and your Father who sees in secret, shall himself reward you openly.

¹⁶ No man lights a lamp and covers it with a vessel, or puts it under the bed; but he puts it on the lamp holder, that whoever enters sees its light.

⁵ Therefore do not judge before the time, until the LORD comes, and brings to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveals the thoughts of the hearts; then shall every man have praise from God.

¹² For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the point of division between soul and spirit, and between the joints and marrow and bones, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet live in darkness, we lie, and do not follow the truth: ⁷ But if we live in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

³ For whatever you have said in darkness will be heard in the light; and what you have whispered in the ears in the inner chambers will be preached on the housetops.

¹⁷ For there is nothing covered which will not be uncovered; and nothing hidden which will not be known, and come to light.
