26 Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, to be like us. Let them be masters over the fish in the ocean, the birds that fly, the livestock, everything that crawls on the earth, and over the earth itself!"

1 "But now they mock me; men who are far younger than I, whose fathers I've would have hated to entrust with my own sheep dogs.
6 Let everyone who breathes praise the LORD. Hallelujah!
27 All of them look to you to provide them their food at the proper time. 28 They receive what you give them; when you open your hand, they are filled with good things. 29 When you withdraw your favor, they are disappointed; Take away their breath, and they die and return to dust. 30 When you send your spirit, they are created, and you replenish the surface of the earth.
18 Later, the LORD God said, "It is not good for man to be alone. I will make for him a companion corresponding to him." 19 So after the LORD God formed from the ground every wild animal and every bird that flies, he brought each of them to the man to see what he would call it. Whatever the man called each living creature became its name.
1 so the LORD sent Nathan to David. Nathan approached David and said, "There are two men in the city. One is rich and one is poor. 2 The rich man has many flocks and herds, 3 but the poor man had nothing except for one little ewe lamb that he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It used to share his food and drink from his own cup. It even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him. 4 A traveler arrived to visit the rich man. Because he was unwilling to take an animal from one of his own flocks or herds to prepare for the guest who had come to visit him, he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to visit him." 5 David flew into a rage at the man and told Nathan, "As the LORD lives, the man who did this deserves to die! 6 He will restore the lamb four times its value, because he did this thing, and because he did it without compassion."
6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your justice is like the great depths of the sea. You deliver both people and animals, LORD.
25 He gives food to all creatures, for his gracious love is everlasting.
6 "Five sparrows are sold for two pennies, aren't they? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
10 The righteous person looks out for the welfare of his livestock, but even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.
