Proverbs 7:1-27

1 My sonne, keepe my wordes, and hide my commandements with thee. 2 Keepe my commandements, and thou shalt liue, and mine instruction as the apple of thine eyes. 3 Binde them vpon thy fingers, and write them vpon the table of thine heart. 4 Say vnto wisedome, Thou art my sister: and call vnderstanding thy kinswoman, 5 That they may keepe thee from the strange woman, euen from the stranger that is smoothe in her wordes. 6 As I was in the window of mine house, I looked through my windowe, 7 And I sawe among the fooles, and considered among the children a yong man destitute of vnderstanding, 8 Who passed through the streete by her corner, and went toward her house, 9 In the twilight in the euening, when the night began to be blacke and darke. 10 And beholde, there met him a woman with an harlots behauiour, and subtill in heart. 11 (She is babling and loud: whose feete can not abide in her house. 12 Nowe she is without, nowe in the streetes, and lyeth in waite at euery corner) 13 So she caught him and kissed him and with an impudent face said vnto him, 14 I haue peace offerings: this day haue I payed my vowes. 15 Therefore came I forth to meete thee, that I might seeke thy face: and I haue found thee. 16 I haue deckt my bed with ornaments, carpets and laces of Egypt. 17 I haue perfumed my bedde with myrrhe, aloes, and cynamom. 18 Come, let vs take our fill of loue vntill the morning: let vs take our pleasure in daliance. 19 For mine husband is not at home: he is gone a iourney farre off. 20 He hath taken with him a bagge of siluer, and will come home at the day appointed. 21 Thus with her great craft she caused him to yeelde, and with her flattering lips she entised him. 22 And he followed her straight wayes, as an oxe that goeth to the slaughter, and as a foole to the stockes for correction, 23 Till a dart strike through his liuer, as a bird hasteth to the snare, not knowing that he is in danger. 24 Heare me now therefore, O children, and hearken to the wordes of my mouth. 25 Let not thine heart decline to her wayes: wander thou not in her paths. 26 For shee hath caused many to fall downe wounded, and the strong men are all slaine by her. 27 Her house is the way vnto ye graue, which goeth downe to the chambers of death.

Romans 1:24-32

24 Wherefore also God gaue them vp to their hearts lusts, vnto vncleannesse, to defile their owne bodies betweene themselues: 25 Which turned the trueth of God vnto a lie, and worshipped and serued the creature, forsaking the Creator, which is blessed for euer, Amen. 26 For this cause God gaue them vp vnto vile affections: for euen their women did change the naturall vse into that which is against nature. 27 And likewise also the men left the naturall vse of the woman, and burned in their lust one toward another, and man with man wrought filthinesse, and receiued in themselues such recompence of their errour, as was meete. 28 For as they regarded not to acknowledge God, euen so God deliuered them vp vnto a reprobate minde, to doe those things which are not conuenient, 29 Being full of all vnrighteousnesse, fornication, wickednes, couetousnes, maliciousnes, full of enuie, of murder, of debate, of deceit, taking all things in the euill part, whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, doers of wrong, proude, boasters, inuenters of euil things, disobedient to parents, without vnderstanding, couenant breakers, without naturall affection, such as can neuer be appeased, mercilesse. 31 Which men, though they knew ye Lawe of God, how that they which comit such things are worthie of death, yet not onely do the same, but also fauour them that doe them. 32

2 Peter 2:12-14

12 But these, as naturall brute beasts, led with sensualitie and made to be taken, and destroyed, speake euill of those things which they know not, and shall perish through their owne corruption, 13 And shall receiue the wages of vnrighteousnes, as they which count it pleasure dayly to liue deliciously. Spottes they are and blottes, deliting them selues in their deceiuings, in feasting with you, 14 Hauing eyes full of adulterie, and that can not cease to sinne, beguiling vnstable soules: they haue heartes exercised with couetousnesse, they are the children of curse:

Isaiah 3:16-17

16 The Lord also saith, Because the daughters of Zion are hautie, and walke with stretched out neckes, and with wandering eyes, walking and minsing as they goe, and making a tinkeling with their feete, 17 Therefore shall the Lord make the heades of the daughters of Zion balde, and the Lord shall discouer their secrete partes.

Exodus 20:17

17 Thou shalt not couet thy neighbours house, neither shalt thou couet thy neighbours wife, nor his man seruant, nor his mayde, nor his oxe, nor his asse, neyther any thing that is thy neighbours.

Philippians 4:8

8 Furthermore, brethre, whatsoeuer things are true, whatsoeuer things are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges are worthie loue, whatsoeuer things are of good report, if there be any vertue, or if there be any praise, thinke on these things,

1 John 2:1-29

1 My little children, these things write I vnto you, that ye sinne not: and if any man sinne, wee haue an Aduocate with the Father, Iesus Christ, the Iust. 2 And he is the reconciliation for our sinnes: and not for ours onely, but also for the sinnes of the whole world. 3 And hereby we are sure that we knowe him, if we keepe his commandements. 4 Hee that saith, I knowe him, and keepeth not his commandements, is a liar, and the trueth is not in him. 5 But hee that keepeth his worde, in him is the loue of God perfect in deede: hereby wee knowe that ye are in him. 6 He that saith he remaineth in him, ought euen so to walke, as he hath walked. 7 Brethren, I write no newe commandement vnto you: but an olde commandement, which ye haue had from the beginning: this olde commandement is that worde, which yee haue heard from the beginning. 8 Againe, a new comandement I write vnto you, that which is true in him, and also in you: for the darkenes is past, and that true light now shineth. 9 He that saith that hee is in that light, and hateth his brother, is in darkenes, vntill this time. 10 Hee that loueth his brother, abideth in that light, and there is none occasion of euil in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother, is in darkenesse, and walketh in darkenesse, and knoweth not whither hee goeth, because that darkenesse hath blinded his eyes. 12 Litle children, I write vnto you, because your sinnes are forgiuen you for his Names sake. 13 I write vnto you, fathers, because yee haue knowen him that is from the beginning. I write vnto you, yong men, because ye haue ouercome that wicked one. I write vnto you, litle children, because ye haue knowen ye Father. 14 I haue written vnto you, fathers, because ye haue knowen him, that is from the beginning. I haue written vnto you, yong men, because ye are strong, and the worde of God abideth in you, and ye haue ouercome that wicked one. 15 Loue not this world, neither the things that are in this world. If any man loue this world, the loue of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in this world (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is not of the Father, but is of this world. 17 And this world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth euer. 18 Litle children, it is the last time, and as ye haue heard that Antichrist shall come, euen now are there many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from vs, but they were not of vs: for if they had bene of vs, they should haue continued with vs. But this cometh to passe, that it might appeare, that they are not all of vs. 20 But ye haue an ointment from that Holy one, and know all things. 21 I haue not written vnto you, because ye knowe not the trueth: but because ye knowe it, and that no lie is of the trueth. 22 Who is a liar, but he that denyeth that Iesus is that Christ? the same is that Antichrist that denyeth the Father and the Sonne. 23 Whosoeuer denyeth the Sonne, the same hath not the Father. 24 Let therefore abide in you that same which ye haue heard from the beginning. If that which ye haue heard from the beginning, shall remaine in you, ye also shall continue in the Sonne, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised vs, euen that eternall life. 26 These things haue I written vnto you, concerning them that deceiue you. 27 But that anointing which ye receiued of him, dwelleth in you: and ye neede not that any man teach you: but as the same Anoynting teacheth you of all things, and it is true, and is not lying, and as it taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And nowe, litle children, abide in him, that when he shall appeare, we may be bolde, and not be ashamed before him at his comming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, know ye that he which doeth righteously, is borne of him.

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 If my people, among whome my Name is called vpon, doe humble them selues, and praye, and seeke my presence, and turne from their wicked wayes, then will I heare in heauen, and be mercifull to their sinne, and wil heale their land:

24 To keepe thee from the wicked woman, and from ye flatterie of ye tongue of a strange woman. 25 Desire not her beautie in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eye lids.

Titus 2:11-12

11 For that grace of God, that bringeth saluation vnto all men, hath appeared, 12 And teacheth vs that we should denie vngodlinesse and worldly lusts, and that we should liue soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world,
