²² Pilate saith to them, `What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?' They all say to him, `Let be crucified!'

³¹ If not—say ye, O men of my tent, `O that we had of his flesh, we are not satisfied.'

⁸ `Roll unto Jehovah, He doth deliver him, He doth deliver him, for he delighted in him.' ⁹ For thou art He bringing me forth from the womb, Causing me to trust, On the breasts of my mother.

⁷ Thus said Jehovah, Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, To the despised in soul, To the abominated of a nation, To the servant of rulers: `Kings see, and have risen, princes, and worship, For the sake of Jehovah, who is faithful, The Holy of Israel, and He chooseth thee.'

² Yea, he cometh up as a tender plant before Him, And as a root out of a dry land, He hath no form, nor honour, when we observe him, Nor appearance, when we desire him. ³ He is despised, and left of men, A man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we esteemed him not.

⁸ And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, and my soul is grieved with them, and also their soul hath abhorred me.

¹⁷ they therefore having been gathered together, Pilate said to them, `Whom will ye I shall release to you? Barabbas or Jesus who is called Christ?'

⁵⁵ And the chief priests and all the sanhedrim were seeking against Jesus testimony—to put him to death, and they were not finding,

¹² And Pilate answering, again said to them, `What, then, will ye that I shall do to him whom ye call king of the Jews?' <sup>13</sup> and they again cried out, `Crucify him.' ¹⁴ And Pilate said to them, `Why—what evil did he?' and they cried out the more vehemently, `Crucify him;'

²⁰ Pilate again then—wishing to release Jesus—called to them, ²¹ but they were calling out, saying, `Crucify, crucify him.' <sup>22</sup> And he a third time said unto them, `Why, what evil did he? no cause of death did I find in him; having chastised him, then, I will release him .' ²³ And they were pressing with loud voices asking him to be crucified, and their voices, and those of the chief priests, were prevailing, ²⁴ and Pilate gave judgment for their request being done,

¹⁴ and it was the preparation of the passover, and as it were the sixth hour, and he saith to the Jews, `Lo, your king!' <sup>15</sup> and they cried out, `Take away, take away, crucify him;' Pilate saith to them, `Your king shall I crucify?' the chief priests answered, `We have no king except Caesar.'

³⁸ `Let it therefore be known to you, men, brethren, that through this one to you is the forgiveness of sins declared,
