³⁹ And one of the evil-doers who were hanged, was speaking evil of him, saying, `If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us.'

⁴⁴ with the same also the robbers, who were crucified with him, were reproaching him.

³² The Christ! the king of Israel—let him come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe;' and those crucified with him were reproaching him.

³⁴ `I say to you, In that night, there shall be two men on one couch, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left; ³⁵ two women shall be grinding at the same place together, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left;

³⁵ And the people were standing, looking on, and the rulers also were sneering with them, saying, `Others he saved, let him save himself, if this be the Christ, the choice one of God.'
