²¹ and Peter having come down unto the men who have been sent from Cornelius unto him, said, `Lo, I am he whom ye seek, what is the cause for which ye are present?'

⁵¹ And answering, Jesus saith to him, `What wilt thou I may do to thee?' and the blind man said to him, `Rabboni, that I may see again;'

³⁸ And Jesus having turned, and having beheld them following, saith to them, `What seek ye?' and they said to them, `Rabbi, (which is, being interpreted, Teacher,) where remainest thou?' ³⁹ He saith to them, `Come and see;' they came, and saw where he doth remain, and with him they remained that day and the hour was about the tenth.

⁴ Jesus, therefore, knowing all things that are coming upon him, having gone forth, said to them, `Whom do ye seek?' <sup>5</sup> they answered him, `Jesus the Nazarene;' Jesus saith to them, `I am he;' —and Judas who delivered him up was standing with them; — <sup>6</sup> when, therefore, he said to them—`I am he,' they went away backward, and fell to the ground. ⁷ Again, therefore, he questioned them, `Whom do ye seek?' and they said, `Jesus the Nazarene;' ⁸ Jesus answered, `I said to you that I am he; if, then, me ye seek, suffer these to go away;'

²⁹ therefore also without gainsaying I came, having been sent for; I ask, therefore, for what matter ye did send for me?'
