⁸ Now Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the manifestation of the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

²⁴ But he answered and said, I am sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁸ as the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many.

⁵⁴ He hath supported Israel his servant, ⁵⁵ in remembrance of his mercy (even as He promised to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed,) for ever." ⁵⁶ And Mary stayed with her about three months, and then returned to her own house.

⁷⁰ in the house of his servant David, as He spake by the mouth of his holy prophets from the beginning, ⁷¹ even salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us, ⁷² to display his mercy towards our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant, ⁷³ according to the oath which He sware to Abraham our father,

¹¹ yea, He came to his own peculiar right, and even his own people received Him not.

¹⁶ And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; so there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

²⁵ Now ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant, which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, "And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed:" ²⁶ and to you first God having raised up his son Jesus, sent Him to bless you; in your turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said, It was necessary that the word of God should be first spoken to you; but since ye reject it, and judge not yourselves worthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles:

³ For what if some did not believe? shall their incredulity make the faithfulness of God of no effect?

²⁶ for a demonstration, I say, of his righteousness at this time: that He might be just, and the justifier of him, that believeth in Jesus.

¹⁶ And therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace, that so the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

⁴ who are Israelites, whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the form of divine worship, and the promises: ⁵ whose are the fathers, and of whom, as to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all God blessed for ever. Amen.

²³ and that He might make known the riches of his glory in the vessels of mercy, which He hath prepared for glory? ²⁴ whom He hath also called, even us, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles.

²² Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: towards them that fell, severity; but towards thee, goodness; if thou continue in his goodness: for else thou also shalt be cut off.

³⁰ For as ye were heretofore disobedient to God, but have now obtained mercy in their disobedience:

¹⁶ that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, administring the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Spirit.

¹² I mean, that each of you saith, as if of different parties, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, I of Cephas, and I of Christ.

¹⁹ What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that what is sacrificed to an idol is in itself any thing to stumble at?

²⁹ Conscience I say, not thy own, but the other's; for why is my liberty to be judged by another man's conscience?

⁵⁰ But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor doth what is corruptible inherit incorruption.

²⁰ but was yea in Him, (for all the promises of God are in Him yea, and in Him amen,) to the glory of God by us:

⁴ but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son born of a woman made under the law, ⁵ that He might redeem those that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

¹² and ye were at that time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: but now in Christ Jesus,

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should declare the glories of Him, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: ¹⁰ who heretofore were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
