³ Let not him, that eateth, despise him that eateth not; and let not him, that eateth not, censure him that eateth: for God hath received him.

¹ Judge not, that ye be not judged: ² for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you.

¹⁴ Then also come to Him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the pharisees fast much, but thy disciples do not fast?

¹⁸ for John came neither eating nor drinking as others do, and they say, He is beside himself: ¹⁹ the Son of man came eating and drinking like other men, and they call Him a gluttonous man, and a wine-bibber, and a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified by her children.

¹⁰ See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I tell you, that their angels in heaven do continually appear in the presence of my father, who is in heaven:

⁹ And He spake also this parable to some that trusted in themselves as being righteous, and despised others.

³⁴ Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

⁴⁴ While Peter was yet speaking these words, the holy Spirit fell upon all them that heard the word.

⁸ And God who knoweth the heart, bare witness to them, giving them the holy Spirit, as He had done also to us: ⁹ and made no difference between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

¹⁰ But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ;

¹³ Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, not to lay a stumbling-block or scandal before a brother.

¹⁵ But if thy brother be grieved by thy food, thou dost not herein walk in love. Do not by thy food destroy him, for whom Christ died.

²¹ It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do any thing at which thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or weakened.

¹¹ and so the weak brother, for whom Christ died, shall perish by thy knowledge? ¹² But in thus sinning against your brethren, and wounding their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ: ¹³ wherefore if meat make my brother to offend, I will never eat flesh while I breathe, least I make my brother to offend.

²⁹ Conscience I say, not thy own, but the other's; for why is my liberty to be judged by another man's conscience? ³⁰ And if I partake with thankfulness, why am I blamed for that, for which I give thanks?

¹⁶ Let no one therefore judge you on account of meat, or drink, or in respect of a feast, or a new-moon, or sabbaths; ¹⁷ which are a shadow of good things to come, but the body is of Christ.
