³⁹ and when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why do ye take on thus and weep? the child is not dead, but asleep.

¹¹ Having thus answered them, He afterwards saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus is asleep; but I am going to awake him. ¹² Therefore his disciples said, Lord, if he sleep, he will do well. ¹³ But Jesus spake of his death; though they thought that He was speaking of the refreshment of sleep.

¹⁰ And Paul went down and leaned over him, and took him up and said, Be not disturbed; for his life is in him.
