¹⁵ For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.

²⁹ Take but my yoke upon you, and learn of me, (for I am meek and lowly in heart,) and ye shall find refreshment to your souls:

⁵ And may the God of patience and consolation grant you the like mutual affection to each other, according to the example of Christ Jesus:

² even as Christ hath loved us, and given Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet perfume.

²¹ For unto this are ye called; because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye might follow his steps.

¹⁷ For it is better (if it be the will of God) to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. ¹⁸ As Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust (that He might introduce us to God) being indeed put to death in the flesh, but raised to life by the Spirit:
