⁹ Let the brother that is low rejoice in his exaltation: but the rich in his humiliation,

⁵² He hath cast down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the humble.

⁴⁸ Whosoever shall receive this little child for my sake, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth Him that sent me. For he that is lest among you all, shall be great.

²⁰ However rejoice not in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

² through whom also we have admission by faith into this grace in which we stand, and boast in hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only so, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience,

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ: if so be we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified with Him.

¹⁰ as sorrowing, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

³ For we are of the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit, rejoicing in Christ Jesus, and having no confidence in the flesh.

¹⁴ I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren; hath not God chosen the poor of this world who are rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which He hath promised to them that love Him? but ye have slighted the poor. ⁶ Do not the rich tyrannize over you; and drag you to their tribunals?

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should declare the glories of Him, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

¹ Behold then what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: though for this reason the world knoweth us not, because it knew not Him. ² Beloved, we are now the children of God, but it doth not yet appear what we shall be: we know however, that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. ³ And every one, that hath this hope in Him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

⁹ I know thy works and affliction and poverty (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of those that say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ and hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

⁹ After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of all nations, and tribes, and people, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and with palms in their hands; ¹⁰ and crying with a loud voice, saying, Salvation be ascribed to our God, who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
