¹⁴ and my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected me for it; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

⁵ and whoever shall receive one such little child for my sake, receiveth me:

¹³ For this also we thank God continually, that when ye received the word of God, which ye heard from us, ye received it not as the word of men, but (as it is in truth) the word of God, which also worketh effectually in you that believe.

⁸ He therefore who rejecteth us, rejecteth not man, but God; who hath given us his holy Spirit.

² Be not forgetful of hospitality; for thereby some have entertained angels, not knowing it.
