¹⁷ And when I was returned to Jerusalem, and was praying in the temple, I was in a trance.

²⁶ And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he attempted to associate with the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. ²⁷ But Barnabas took and brought him to the apostles, and related to them, how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that He had spoken to him; and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. ²⁸ And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem, and preaching openly in the name of the Lord Jesus:

⁹ On the morrow, while they were on their journey, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the top of the house to pray, about the sixth hour. ¹⁰ And he was very hungry, and desired something to eat: but while they were getting it ready, he fell into a trance; and saw heaven opened,

²⁰ but declared first to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, and through all the country of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, and turn unto God, performing works suitable to repentance.

¹ To boast indeed does not become me: but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. ² I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago (whether in the body, or out of the body, I know not, God knoweth) such a one caught up to the third heaven. ³ And I know such a man (whether then in the body, or out of the body, ⁴ I know not, God knoweth) that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unutterable words, which it is not permitted unto man to speak.
