⁸ shall not the ministration of the Spirit be more glorious?

¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ:

³⁹ (This He spake of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive; for the holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

¹⁷ "And it shall come to pass in the last days (saith God) that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: ¹⁸ yea and on my servants and on my handmaids, in those days, I will pour out of my Spirit, and they also shall prophesy.

³² This Jesus hath God raised up from the dead, of which we all are witnesses. ³³ Therefore being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the holy Spirit, He hath poured forth this gift, which ye now see and hear.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if the Spirit of God dwelleth in you: but if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. ¹¹ And if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwelleth in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead, will also restore your mortal bodies to life, by his Spirit that now dwelleth in you. ¹² Therefore, brethren, we are debtors not to the flesh, to live after the flesh: ¹³ for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if by the Spirit ye mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. ¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. ¹⁵ For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. ¹⁶ So that the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

¹⁶ Do ye not know that ye are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

⁴ Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit: and there are different offices, but the same Lord: ⁵ and there are diversities of operations, ⁶ but it is the same God who worketh them all in every one. ⁷ But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the advantage of all. ⁸ For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; ⁹ to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: ¹¹ but all these worketh that one and the same Spirit distributing to every one in particular as He sees fit.

⁶ Who hath also fitted us to be ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.

¹⁷ now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

⁴ For if he, that cometh to you, preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached; or if ye receive another Spirit which ye have not received, or another gospel which ye have not embraced, ye might indeed bear with him.

² This only would I learn of you, Did ye receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ³ Are ye so void of understanding? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? ⁴ have ye suffered so many things in vain? if indeed in vain. ⁵ He therefore that imparteth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doth he it by the works of the law, or by the doctrine of faith?

¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles by Christ Jesus; that we through faith might receive the promise of the Spirit.

⁵ For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, ²³ gentleness, goodness, fidelity, meekness, temperance: against such things there is no law.

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

¹³ But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord; because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth:

² Asia, and Bithynia, chosen according to the fore-knowledge of God, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience, and to the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ,---may grace and peace be multiplied unto you.

¹⁹ These are they who separate themselves, sensualists, not having the Spirit. ²⁰ But ye, beloved, edifying yourselves in your most holy faith, and praying in the holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God,
