² And if any one be conceited of his knowledge, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

²⁵ For I would not have you, brethren, to be ignorant of this mystery, (least ye should be wise in your own eyes) that blindness in part is befallen Israel, till the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

¹⁸ Let no one deceive himself: if any among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be truly wise.

⁸ Charity never faileth: but as to prophecies, they shall be abolished; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be laid aside. ⁹ For now we know but in part, and we prophesy but in part.

¹² For we see now as through a mirror obscurely: but then we shall see face to face. Now I know but in part, but then I shall know even as I am known.

³ For if any one thinketh that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

⁵ so do, and acquaint them that the end of that charge is charity, out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned: ⁶ from which some having swerved are turned aside to vain discourses; ⁷ desiring to be teachers of the law, though they neither understand what they say, nor what things they assert.

³ These things teach and exhort. If any one teach otherwise, and adhere not to the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness; ⁴ he is proud, knowing nothing, but is delirious about questions and strifes of words: from which cometh envy, contention, calumnies, wicked suspicions, perverse debates of men corrupted in mind,
