⁴ in whom the god of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should not shine upon them. ⁵ For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake; ⁶ because it is the God Who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," Who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ Wherefore, He saith: "Awake, you who are sleeping; and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you!"

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given us understanding, that we may know the True One: and we are in the True One—in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God, and eternal life.
