¹⁰ But the high priests consulted, that they might slay Lazarus also; ¹¹ because, on his account, many of the Jews were going away, and were believing on Jesus.

⁸ And, entering into the synagogue, he was speaking boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading as to the things concerning the Kingdom of God.

¹¹ Knowing, therefore, the fear of the Lord, we persuade men; but to God we have been made manifest, and I hope that we have been made manifest also in your consciences.
