⁴ "And I say to you, my friends, be not frightened by those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do;

²⁸ And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him Who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

¹⁴ Ye are My friends, if ye do what I command you. ¹⁵ No longer do I call you slaves; because the slave knows not what his lord is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things which I heard from My Father I made known to you.

¹³ Now, beholding the boldness of Peter and John, and perceiving that they were unlettered and ignorant men, they were wondering; they also were recognizing them, that they had been with Jesus;

²⁴ But I make not my soul of any value as dear to myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify the Gospel of the grace of God.

²⁸ and in nothing terrified by the adversaries; which, indeed, to them is a token of destruction, but of your salvation, and this from God;

²³ and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness"; and he was called "God's Friend."

¹⁴ But, if ye should even suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye. But fear not their fear, neither be troubled;

¹⁰ Fear not the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
