⁷ If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done to you.

⁷ "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;

³⁷ I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye are seeking to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.

¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

¹⁶ Ye did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.

²³ And in that day ye will ask nothing of Me: verily, verily, I say to you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, He will give it you in My name.

² but is under guardians and stewards, until the time appointed by the father.

¹⁶ But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye will not fulfill the desire of the flesh.

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts, to God.

¹⁴ I wrote to you, fathers, because ye have known Him Who is from the beginning. I wrote to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and ye have conquered the evil one.

²⁷ And the Anointing which ye received from Him abideth in you, and ye have no need that anyone teach you; but as His Anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as He taught you, ye abide in Him.

²² and whatsoever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and do the things that are pleasing before Him.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence which we have toward Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us;

¹ The elder to an elect lady and her children whom I love in truth—and not I only, but also all who know the truth— ² for the truth's sake which abides in us, and will be with us forever:
