³⁷ If I do not the works of My Father, believe Me not;

²⁰ Then He began to upbraid the cities in which were done most of His mighty works, because they did not repent. ²¹ "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! because, if the mighty works which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes; ²² nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. ²³ "And you, Capernaum, shall you be exalted to Heaven? You shall go down to Hades; because, if the mighty works which were done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. ²⁴ Nevertheless, I say to you, that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you!"

³¹ If I testify concerning Myself, My testimony is not true.

²⁵ Jesus answered them, "I told you, and ye did not believe: the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify concerning Me.

³² Jesus answered them, "Many good works did I show you from My Father; for which of those works do ye stone Me?"

³⁷ But, though He had done so many signs before them, they were not believing on Him; ³⁸ that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which He spake, "Lord, who believed our report, and to whom was the arm of the Lord revealed?" ³⁹ On this account they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ "He hath blinded their eyes, and He hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I should heal them."

¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I say to you, I speak not from Myself; but the Father, abiding in Me, doeth His works.

²⁴ Had I not done among them the works which no other did, they would not have had sin; but now have they both seen and hated both Me and My Father;
