⁴ Behold, the hire of the workmen who mowed down your fields, which is fraudulently kept back by you, is crying out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

⁷ And will not God avenge His elect, who are crying to Him day and night, and He is long suffering over them?

²⁹ And, as Isaiah has said before: "Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we would have become as Sodom, and been made like to Gomorrah."
