⁷ but into the second, the high priest alone, once a year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the ignorances of the people;

² able to bear with the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is encompassed with infirmity; ³ and, on account of it, he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to make offering for sins.

²⁷ Who hath no necessity daily, as the high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people (for this He did once for all, when He offered up Himself);

²⁴ For Christ entered not into holy places made with hand, patterns of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God in our behalf; ²⁵ nor yet, that He should many times offer Himself, as the high priest enters into the Holies every year with blood not His own;

³ But in these sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins year by year;

¹⁹ Having, therefore, brethren, boldness for the entrance into the holy places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ which He dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is, His flesh;
