²⁵ See that ye refuse not Him Who speaketh; for, if those escaped not, when refusing him who warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape, who turn away from Him Who warneth us from Heaven;

⁴ And Jesus saith to him, "See that you tell no one: but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I delighted; hear Him."

³⁵ This Moses whom they denied, saying, 'Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?' him hath God sent as both ruler and redeemer, with the hand of the angel that appeared to him in the bush.

¹⁵ See that no one render to any one evil for evil; but always pursue that which is good, toward one another, and toward all.

⁴ and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to the fables.

¹ For this reason, it is needful that we give the more earnest heed to the things heard, lest at any time we drift past them. ² For, if the word spoken through angels became steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a righteous recompense, ³ how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation; which, indeed, having at first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;

¹⁷ And with whom was He displeased forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

⁵ who, indeed, serve in the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses has been divinely warned, when about to make the tabernacle; for "See," saith He, "that you make all things according to the pattern which was showed you in the mount";

²⁸ Anyone, having set aside Moses' law, dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses; ²⁹ of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be accounted worthy, who trampled under foot the Son of God, and accounted the blood of the covenant with which He was sanctified an unholy thing, and treated with contempt the Spirit of grace?

⁷ By faith Noah, being divinely instructed concerning things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

²² Having purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned brotherly love, love one another from the heart earnestly;

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, "See that you do it not: I am a fellow-servant of you and of your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

⁹ And he says, "See that you do it not. I am a fellow-servant with you and with your brethren the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book: worship God."
