⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

³¹ "And, when the Son of man cometh in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then will He sit on the throne of His glory; ³² and there will be gathered before Him all the nations; and He will separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; ³³ and He will set the sheep, indeed, on His right hand, but the goats on the left. ³⁴ "Then will the King say to those on His right hand, 'Come, ye blessed of My Father! inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world: ³⁵ for I hungered, and ye gave Me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me in; ³⁶ naked, and ye clothed Me; I was sick, and ye looked after Me; I was in prison, and ye came to Me.' ³⁷ "Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, and fed Thee? or thirsting, and gave Thee drink? ³⁸ And when did we see Thee a stranger, and took Thee in; or naked, and clothed Thee? ³⁹ And, when did we see Thee sick, or in prison, and came to Thee?' ⁴⁰ "And, answering, the King will say to them, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of My brethren, even the least, ye did it to Me.'

²⁵ For circumcision, indeed, profits, if you do the law; but, if you are transgressors of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. ²⁶ If, therefore, the uncircumcision keep the ordinances of the law, shall not his uncircumcision he reckoned for circumcision? ²⁷ And shall not the uncircumcision that is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, with the letter and circumcision, to be a transgressor of the law? ²⁸ For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly; nor is that circumcision, which is outward in flesh; ²⁹ but he is a Jew, who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.

²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only? Is He not of gentiles also! Yes, of gentiles also; ³⁰ if, indeed, God is One Who will justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith. ³¹ Do we, then, make void the law through faith? It could not be! Yea, we establish the law.

¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing; but the keeping of the commandments of God.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ is constraining us; having judged this, that One died for all; consequently, they all died:

²⁸ There exists neither Jew nor Greek, there exists neither bond nor free, there exists neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

² Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that, if ye be circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. ³ And I testify again to every man who is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

¹⁵ For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

¹¹ where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.

³ remembering, without ceasing, your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

⁸ By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed to go forth into the place which he was about to receive for an inheritance; and he went forth, not knowing whither he was going.

¹⁷ By faith Abraham, when tried, has offered up Isaac; yea, he who gladly received the promises was offering up his only begotten son, ¹⁸ to whom it was said, "In Isaac shall your seed be called;" ¹⁹ accounting that God is able to raise even from the dead; whence he did also, as in a figure, receive him back.

¹⁴ What profit is it, my brethren, if anyone says he has faith, but has not works; can such faith save him? ¹⁵ If a brother or a sister be naked, and in want of daily food, ¹⁶ and one of you say to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," but ye give them not the things needful for the body, what does it profit? ¹⁷ Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself. ¹⁸ But some one will say, "You have faith, and I have works": show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. ¹⁹ You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder! ²⁰ But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is worthless? ²¹ Was not Abraham, our father, justified by works, when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? ²² You see that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith perfected; ²³ and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness"; and he was called "God's Friend." ²⁴ Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. ²⁵ And, in like manner, was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she received the messengers, and sent them out by another way? ²⁶ For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.

⁸ Whom, not having seen, ye love; on Whom, though now not seeing Him, yet believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and full of glory;

¹⁴ We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not abides in death. ¹⁵ Every one that hates his brother is a murderer; and ye know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ In this we have known the love, that He laid down His soul in our behalf; and we ought to lay down our souls in behalf of the brethren. ¹⁷ But whosoever possesses the goods of the world, and beholds his brother having need, and shuts up his compassion from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ Hereby we shall know that we are of the truth, and we shall assure our heart before Him; ²⁰ because, if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment; and he who fears is not made perfect in love. ¹⁹ We love, because He first loved us. ²⁰ If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God Whom he has not seen. ²¹ And this commandment we have from Him, that he who loves God loves his brother also.
