¹⁴ For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as if not reaching to you; for we came even as far as to you in the Gospel of Christ;

²⁴ But I make not my soul of any value as dear to myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify the Gospel of the grace of God.

¹⁰ but to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things —even the deep things of God.

⁵ What, then, is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and as the Lord gave to each. ⁶ I planted, Apollos watered; but God causeth it to grow.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master-builder, I laid a foundation; and another builds thereon. But let each one take heed how he builds thereon;

¹⁵ For, though ye have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet ye have not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the Gospel.

¹ Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are ye not my work in the Lord? ² If to others I am not an apostle, yet to you at least I am; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.

¹² Now, having come to Troas for the Gospel of Christ, and a door having been opened to me in the Lord,

¹ Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or need we, as do some, commendatory letters to you, or from you? ² Ye are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; ³ being made manifest that ye are Christ's epistle ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

⁴ in whom the god of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should not shine upon them.

⁶ I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from Him Who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different Gospel, ⁷ which is not another; only there are some who are troubling you, and wishing to pervert the Gospel of Christ. ⁸ But even if we or an angel out of Heaven should proclaim a Gospel to you other than that which we delivered to you, let him be accursed!

⁵ because of the hope laid up for you in Heaven, of which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the Gospel,

¹¹ according to the Gospel of the glory of the Blessed God, with which I was entrusted.
