⁶ He who says that he is abiding in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; because I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls;

¹⁵ for I gave you an example, that, as I did to you, ye also should do.

⁴ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, unless ye abide in Me. ⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit; because, apart from Me, ye can do nothing. ⁶ Unless one abides in Me, he was cast forth as a branch, and withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

¹ Become imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

² and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and delivered Himself up for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet smell.

²¹ For to this were ye called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow His steps;

⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and are walking in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth; ⁷ but, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with One another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁴ He who says, "I have known Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him; that, if He shall be manifested, we may have confidence, and not be put away from Him with shame at His coming.

⁶ Every one that is abiding in Him sins not; whosoever sins has not seen Him nor known Him.
