⁷ Do not be deceived anymore; God is not to be scoffed at. A person will reap just what he sows, whatever it is.

²⁵ But Abraham said, 'My child, remember that you received in full your blessings in your lifetime, and Lazarus his hardships in his, but now he is continuously comforted here, while you are continuously tortured there.

⁸ So He said, "You must take care not to be misled about it! For many will come bearing the name of Messiah, and saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not go after them.

⁶ For when He finally judges, He will pay everyone with exactness for what he has done, ⁷ eternal life to those who patiently continue doing good and striving for glory, honor, and immortality, ⁸ but wrath and fury, crushing suffering and awful anguish, to the self-willed who are always resisting the right and yielding to the wrong, ⁹ to every human soul who practices doing evil, the Jew first and then the Greek. ¹⁰ But glory, honor, and peace will come to everyone who practices doing good, the Jew first and then the Greek;

¹⁸ Let no one deceive himself. If any one of you supposes that he is wise in this world's wisdom, as compared with the rest of you, to become really wise he must become a fool.

⁹ Do you not know that wrongdoers will not have a share in the kingdom of God? Stop being misled; people who are sexually immoral or idolaters or adulterers or sensual or guilty of unnatural sexual vice

³³ Do not be so misled: "Evil companionships corrupt good character."

⁶ Now this is the way it is: Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly too, but whoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully too.

³ For if anybody thinks he is somebody when really he is nobody, he deceives himself.

⁶ Stop letting anyone deceive you with groundless arguments about these things, for it is because of these very sins that God's anger comes down upon the disobedient.

³ Do not let anybody at all deceive you about this, because that cannot take place until the great revolt occurs and the representative of lawlessness is uncovered, the one who is doomed to destruction,

²² Keep on obeying this message; do not merely listen to it, and so deceive yourselves.

²⁶ If anyone thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives himself, his religious worship is worthless.

⁸ If we claim "We are already free from sin," we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in our hearts.

⁷ Dear children, avoid letting anyone lead you astray. Whoever practices doing right is upright, just as He is upright.
