Romans 5:6 Cross References - Whiston

⁶ For when we were yet without Strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

⁵ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

²⁵ Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

⁸ But God commendeth his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

¹⁰ For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son: much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

²⁶ And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

⁴ But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

¹ And you who were dead in your trespasses and sins, ² Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. ³ Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. ⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, for the great love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickned us together with Christ, by whose grace ye are saved.

¹³ And you being dead in your sins, by the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickned, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

⁹ For God hath not appointed us to wrath; but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁹ Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, and for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

¹² Teaching us, that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;

³ For we our selves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another. ⁴ But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, ⁵ Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing by the Holy Ghost;

²⁶ For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world, but now once in the end of the world, hath he appeared to put away sins by the sacrifice of himself.

²⁰ Who verily was fore-ordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in this last of times for us;

⁵ And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; ⁶ And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes, condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

⁷ But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment, and impiety of ungodly men.

⁴ For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were of old described as coming to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and, denying the only Lord, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁵ To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly, of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

¹⁸ That they told you there should come mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
