¹ And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals; and I heard, as it were with the noise of thunder, one of the four animals, saying. Come. ² And I saw, and behold, a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and the conqueror went forth to conquer also. ³ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second animal say, Come. ⁴ And there went out another horse red: and it ws given to him that sat on him, to take peace from the earth; and they will kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. ⁵ And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third animal say, Come. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. ⁶ And I heard as a voice in the midst of the four animals say, A chaenix of wheat for a denarius, and three chaenixes of barley for a denarius; and be thou not unjust in the oyl, and the wine. ⁷ And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth animal say, Come. ⁸ And I looked, and behold, a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hades followed with him: and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth; to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the fourth part of the wild beasts of the earth. ⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and the testimony which they held. ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? ¹¹ And a white robe was given unto every one of them, and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow-servants also, and their brethren that should be killed as they [were,] should be fulfilled. ¹² And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood: ¹³ And the stars of God fell unto the earth, even as a fig-tree calleth her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind: ¹⁴ the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places: ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the chief captains, and the rich men, and the strong men, and every bond-man and free-man hid themselves in the dens, and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

²⁰ For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and beard.

⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings, and voices, and thundrings: And seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. ⁶ And before the throne as a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, four animals full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first animal waslike a lion, and the second animal like a calf, and the third animal had a face as of a man, and the fourth animal [was] like a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within, and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

⁵ And one of the elderssaith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and the seven seals thereof. ⁶ And I beheld, and lo,in the midst also of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ And he came and took [the book] out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

³ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second animal say, Come.

⁵ And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third animal say, Come. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

⁷ And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth animal say, Come.

³ And cried with a loud voice, as a lion roreth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. ⁴ And when the seven thunders had uttered, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven, saying, seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened, which is in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thundrings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

² And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard was of harpers harping with their harps;

⁶ And I heard the voice of a great multitude, and the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundrings, saying Alleluia: forthe Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

¹⁸ And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to say any of those things, which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ¹⁹ Through his mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem unto Illyricum and round about, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

²⁵ For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

⁵⁵ O death, where [is] thy sting? O death, where [is] thy victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death [is] sin and the strength of sin [is] the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks [be] to God who hath given us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. ⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth it self against the knowledge of God, and captivating every thought, and bringing it unto the obedience of Christ:

²¹ To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.

¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets; and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great, to destroy them who destroy the earth.

¹⁴ And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat, like onto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

² And I saw asit were a sea of glass, mingled with fire; and them that had gotten the victory over the wild beast, and over his image, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they that are with him, [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. ¹² His eyes as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no one knew but he himself:

¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, but clothed in white linen, and clean.

⁷ And the first animal waslike a lion, and the second animal like a calf, and the third animal had a face as of a man, and the fourth animal [was] like a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals; and I heard, as it were with the noise of thunder, one of the four animals, saying. Come.

³⁴ Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

¹¹ Jesus answered him, Thou hast no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns were upon their head.

¹⁰ If any one [leadeth] into captivity, he goeth into captivity: he that killeth with the sword, must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads, and ten horns.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

⁵ And one of the elderssaith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and the seven seals thereof.

⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, That thou art worthy to take the book, and to [open] the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed [them] to God by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

⁶ And before the throne as a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, four animals full of eyes before and behind.

³ saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we shall have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

⁴ And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but those men who have not the seal of God upon [their] foreheads.

²³ And thou, Capharnaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven, or shalt thou descend into Hades? for if the mighty works which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained unto this day.

⁵⁵ O death, where [is] thy sting? O death, where [is] thy victory?

¹⁸ He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore; and have the keys of hades and of death.

⁷ And the first sounded, and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees, and all the green grass was burnt up. ⁸ And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood: ⁹ And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heave, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, ¹¹ And the name of the star is called wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters because they were made bitter. ¹² And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a fourth part of it, and the night likewise.

¹⁵ And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

¹⁸ By these three plagues was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

⁴ And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman, who was ready to be delivered, forto devour her child assoon as it was born.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead, those that were in it; and death and hades delivered up the dead, those that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. ¹⁴ And death and hades were cast into the lake of fire: This is the second death, the lake of fire.

² They shall put you out of the synagogues: But the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he doth God service.

⁸ We are confident, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with God.

²³ But I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

¹⁷ Yea, and if my blood be poured out upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

⁸ Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

⁶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

² Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, [and of] all things that he saw.

⁹ I John, who am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience in Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, [for] the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus

¹³ I know where thou dwellest, where satans seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even, in those days [wherein] Antipas my faithful martyr was slain among you, where satan dwelleth.

³ And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer [it] with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar, which is before God.

³ And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred threescore days clothed in sackcloth. ⁴ These are the two olive-trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth, out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must be killed: ⁶ These have the power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophesy: and have power over the waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they will. ⁷ And when they shall be near finishing their testimony, the fourth wild beast that ascendeth out of the abysse shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Wo to the inhabiters of the earth, and of the sea: for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. ¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child[.] ¹⁴ And to the woman were given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place: where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a flood, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. ¹⁶ And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the water, which the dragon cast out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire: and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

⁷ And I heard [another out of] the altar say, Even so, Lord God almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments.

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him: And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not; I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they satupon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that had been conquered in war, for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon [their] forehead, and in their Hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

⁷ And, shall not God avenge his own elect, while they cry day and night unto him, and he compassionates them? ⁸ I tell you, He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

²² For these be the days of vengence, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

¹⁹ Dearly beloved, avenge not your selves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.

⁶ Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; ⁷ And to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with his mighty angels, ⁸ In a flame of fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:

²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than Abel.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write, These things saith he that is true, he that is holy, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no one shutteth, and shutteth and no one openeth.

¹⁰ And thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God almighty; just, and true [are] thy ways, thou King of nations. ⁴ Who shall not fear [thee,] O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest O Lord.

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, who art, and wast, the Holy one, because thou hast judged thus: ⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; they are worthy. ⁷ And I heard [another out of] the altar say, Even so, Lord God almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and the saints and the apostles and prophets, for God hath avenged you on her.

²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

² For true and righteous [are] his judgments; for he hath judged the great whore who did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

²¹ And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be put to death.

³⁴ Therefore behold, I will send prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and [some] of them ye will kill and crucifie, and persecute from city to city: ³⁵ That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the land, from the blood of righteous Abel, unto the blood of Zacharias, son of Barachias, whom ye have slain between the temple and the altar.

⁴⁰ God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

⁴ But thou hast a few names in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. ⁵ He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

⁹ After this I beheld a great multitude, and no man could number them, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, cloathed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ And he had power to give life unto the image of the wild beast, that the image of the wild beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the wild beast, should be killed.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, Write, Blessed [are] the dead who die in the Lord, from henceforth: Yes, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.

⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.

²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sunbe darkned, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

⁵⁴ Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son God.

² And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, And came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon [it].

²⁴ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkned, and the moon shall not give her light: ²⁵ And the stars of heaven shall be falling and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

³³ And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole earth, until the ninth hour.

⁴⁴ And it was the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. ⁴⁵ And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit: And having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

¹⁹ And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath, ²⁰ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great day of the Lord come.

⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were thundrings, and lightnings, and voices, and an earthquake.

¹³ And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain names of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹⁸ And there were lightnings, voices, and thunders, and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since man was upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, so great.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, and perplexity, the sea and the waves roring;

¹ And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall front heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the pit of the abyss.

¹¹ They shall perish, but thou remainest: and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; ¹² And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed as a garment: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. ¹³ But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat; the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnt up

²⁰ And everyisland fled away, and the mountains were not found.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them.

¹ And I saw a new heaven, and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and I saw the sea no longer.

³⁸ Of whom the world was not worthy, they wandered in deserts, and mountains, and dens and caves of the earth.

⁹ And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication, and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, ¹⁰ Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for one hour [is] thy judgment. ¹¹ And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth her merchandise any more:

¹³ And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipt in blood: and his name hath been called, The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, but clothed in white linen, and clean. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God ¹⁶ And he hath on his thigh a name written, King of Kings[,] and Lord of lords. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come, gather your selves together unto the great supper of God; ¹⁸ That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both [free] and bond, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the wild beast, and the kings of the earth, and his armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. ²⁰ And the wild beast was taken, and those with him, the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the wild beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

⁶⁴ Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: moreover I say unto you, that hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

³⁰ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us,

⁷ And to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with his mighty angels, ⁸ In a flame of fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus: ⁹ Who shall be punished with eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power:

² Immediately I was in the spirit; and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and[one sat on] the throne.

⁵ And out of the throne proceeded lightnings, and voices, and thundrings: And seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

⁹ And when those animals give glory and honour, and thanks to him that sits on the throne, who liveth fo ever and ever,

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

⁶ And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in them, that there should be no longer time.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God

³⁶ But Watch ye and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and ye shall stand before the Son of man.

⁵ But after thy hardness and impenitent heart, treasurest up unto thy self wrath against the day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁶ But the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of daemons working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of the great day of God almighty.
