¹² Having a wall great and high, having twelve gates; and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

¹⁰ See that ye despise not one of these little ones that believe on me; for I say unto you, that their angels in the heavens do always behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens.

¹⁰ Likewise I say unto you, There shall be joy in the presence of the angels of God, over one sinner that repenteth.

²² And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried.

⁷ Unto which our twelve tribes serving day and night, hope to come: for which hopes sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministring spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

⁴ [There were] sealed, an hundred forty four thousand, of all the tribes of Israel. ⁵ Ofthe tribe of Juda [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand. ⁶ Of the tribe of Aser twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim twelve thousand. ¹⁷ And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] fortyand four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the anel. ¹⁸ And the building of the wall of it[was] of jasper; and the city pure gold, [and] like unto clear glass. ¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation a jasper; the second, a sapphire; the third, a chalcedony, the fourth, an emerald; ²⁰ The fifth, a sardonyx; the sixth a sardius; the seventh, a chrysolite; the eighth, a beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinct, the twelfth, an amethyst. ²¹ And the twelve gates twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

²⁵ And the gates of it shall notbe shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there.
