²⁹ And all the people that heard this,and the publicans justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

⁵ Then went out to him Jerusalem and all Judea, and all the region about Jordan, ⁶ And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

³¹ Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and harlots go ito the kingdom of God before you. ³² For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him. And ye when ye had seen [it], repented [not] afterward, that ye might believe him.

¹² But the publican, came in like manner to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do, that we may be saved?

³⁵ But wisdom is justified of her children.

²⁵ Who was instructed in his own country in the word of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of Jesus, knowing only the baptism of John.

³ But he said onto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto Johns baptism.

⁴ God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. ⁵ But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? [Is] God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? I speak as a man, ⁶ God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

³ For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God almighty; just, and true [are] thy ways, thou King of nations.
