⁷ And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was dissolved.

³⁴ Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

⁴⁰ Some of the multitude therefore when they heard his word, said, this is truly the prophet. ⁴¹ Others said, He is the Christ. Some said, doe the Christ come out of Galilee? ⁴² Does not the scripture say, that the Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? ⁴³ So there was a division among the multitude because of him.

⁴ But the multitude of the city was divided: and some held with the Jews, and others with the apostles.
