¹⁴ But when they had departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath-day, and sat down.

²⁰ And straightway he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

⁵ But when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of the Lord in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John ministring to them.

⁴² And when they were gone out of the synagogue, they besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

⁴⁴ And the next sabbath-day came almost the whole city, together to hear Paul; and when he had spoken a great deal about the Lord,

¹⁹ But while they stayed and taught, there came upon them certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who stirred up the people, and having stoned Paul, drew [him] out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

²¹ But when they preached the gospel to those in the city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and [to] Iconium and Antioch, ²² Confirming the souls of the disciples, [and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation come into the kingdom of God. ²³ And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed. ²⁴ But after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.

¹³ But on the sabbath-day we went out of the gate by the river, where there appeared to be an house of prayer: and we sat down and spake unto the women who came along with us.

² And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, [and] three sabbaths reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

⁴ But entering into the synagogue every sabbath, he reasoned; and proposing the name of the Lord Jesus, he persuaded not only the Jews, but the Greeks also.

⁸ But Paul entered into the synagogue with great power, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading what concerned the kingdom of God.
