¹³ Now for a recompence in the same, I speak as unto children, be ye also enlarged.

²⁸ And he cometh into the house, and the two blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto hem, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yes, Lord. ²⁹ Then touched he their eyes, and said, According to your faith, be it unto you.

¹⁹ Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? ²⁰ And he saith unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye shall have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

⁴ And Jesus said unto them, that A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. ⁵ And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed [them]. ⁶ And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching,

²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, What things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye shall receive [them], and ye shall have [them].

¹⁴ I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn [you]. ¹⁵ For though you have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

¹² Brethren, I beseech you, be as I [am]; for I [am] as ye [are]: ye have not injured me at all.

¹⁹ My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

¹¹ As you know, how we exhorted and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father his children,

⁵ And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, [My] son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him. ⁶ For whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

⁶ But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering: for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind, and tossed. ⁷ For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

¹ My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

¹² I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. ¹³ I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. ¹⁴ I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

⁷ Little children let not any one deceive you: He that doth righteousness, is righteous, even as he is righteous:

¹⁸ Little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask according to his name, he heareth us. ¹⁵ [And] whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

⁴ I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
