³ Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

²⁰ For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of the Father who speaketh in you.

¹⁸ Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth, shall be bound in the heavens: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth, shall be loosed in the heavens. ¹⁹ Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in the heavens. ²⁰ There are not two or three gathered together in my name, but I am in the midst of them.

¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth, and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to resist.

⁴ In the name of our Lord Jesus, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, ⁵ To deliver such an one unto Satan, for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved to the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not you my work in the Lord? ² If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye. ³ Mine answer to them that do examine me, is this,

⁶ Sufficient to such a man [is] this punishment, which was of the many.

¹⁰ To whom ye forgive any thing, I do it also: for [if] I forgave [any thing], it was for your sakes, in the person of Christ;

¹ Do we begin again to commend our selves? or need we, as some, commendatory epistles to you, or commendatory [ones] from you? ² Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. ³ Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ, ministred by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart:

⁴ For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

⁸ For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which God hath given for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: ⁹ That we may not seem to terrify you by epistles. ¹⁰ For the epistles (says he) [are] weighty and powerfull, but bodily presence weak, and speech contemptible.

¹² Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
