²³ But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because it is not of faith; for whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.

² Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the appointment of God; and they that resist shall receive to themselves condemnation.

⁵ One man esteemeth one day above another; another esteemeth every day alike; let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

⁷ But there is not in all men this knowledge; for some do even until now, with consciousness of the idol, eat it as sacrificed to the idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

²⁹ For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not distinguishing the Lord's body. ³⁰ For this cause many are sick and weak among you, and many sleep. ³¹ For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

¹⁵ To the clean all things are clean; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is clean; but both their understanding and conscience are defiled.

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
