¹ And Jesus, when he had finished these sayings, departed from Gacilee, and came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan.

³³ God is not a God of the dead, but of the living. And the multitude hearing it, were astonished at his doctrine.

²² And they all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

³² And they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.

⁴⁸ And found not what they might do; for all the people hung upon him to hear him.

¹⁵ And the Jews marvelled, saying, How doth this man know letters, having never learned?

⁴⁶ The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
