Matthew 21:33

Matthew 25:14-30

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his servants, and delivered to them his goods. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, according to his own ability, and immediately took his journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents, went and traded with them, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received the two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one, went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's mony. 19 After a long time, the lord of those servants cometh and reckoneth with them. 20 And he that had received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Sir, thou deliveredst to me five talents; behold I have gained to them five talents more. 21 His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Sir, thou deliveredst to me two talents; behold I have gained to them two other talents. 23 His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things: I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24 Then he that had received the one talent came and said, Sir, I knew that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hadst not sown, and gathering whence thou hadst not scattered. 25 And being afraid, I went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, thou hast what is thine. 26 His lord answering said to him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather whence I had not scattered? 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received my own with interest. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it him who hath ten talents. 29 For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, shall be taken away even what he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mark 13:34

34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Romans 12:6-8

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given us, whether it be prophesy, let us prophesy according to the analogy of faith: 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministring; or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation. 8 He that imparteth, let him do it with simplicity; he that presideth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with chearfulness.

Luke 16:1-12

1 And he said also to his disciples, There was a certain rich man who had a steward: and he was accused to him as wasting his goods. 2 And calling him, he said to him, Why hear I this of thee? Give an account of thy stewardship, for thou canst be no longer steward. 3 And the steward said in himself, What shall I do? For my lord taketh away the stewardship from me. I cannot dig, to beg I am ashamed. 4 I know what to do, that when I am removed from the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. 5 So having called to him every one of his lord's debtors, he said to the first, How much owest thou to my lord? 6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. He said to him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty. 7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? He said, An hundred measures of wheat. He saith, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. 8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely; for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light. 9 And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness, that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. 10 He that is faithful in the least, is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least, is unjust also in much. 11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will intrust you with the true riches? 12 And if ye have not been fauthful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

Luke 19:12-27

12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 And having called ten of his servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade till I come. 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent an embassy after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 15 And when he was returned, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants to be called to him, to whom he had given the money, to know what each had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17 And he said to him, Well done, good servant; because thou hast been faithful in a very little, be thou governor over ten cities. 18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19 And he said to him likewise, Be thou also over five cities. 20 And another came saying, Lord, behold thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin. 21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou layest not down, and reapest what thou didst not sow. 22 And he saith to him, Out of thy own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow. 23 Wherefore then gavest thou not my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have received it with interest? 24 And he said to them that stood by, Take the pound from him, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. 25 (And they said to him, Lord, he hath ten pounds!) 26 For I say unto you, To every one that hath shall be given: but from him that hath not, even what he hath shall be taken away from him. 27 Moreover those my enemies, who would not that I should reign over them, bring hither and slay before me.

Luke 20:9

1 Corinthians 4:1-2

1 Let a man so account us, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

1 Corinthians 12:4

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:7-29

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each, to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom; to another by the same Spirit, the word of knowledge; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; 10 to another the gift of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit worketh all these, dividing to every one severally as he willeth. 12 For as the body is one, and yet hath many members, but all the members of the body, many as they are, are one body, so is Christ. 13 For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether we are Jews or Gentiles, whether slaves or freemen; and we have all drank of one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot should say, 15 Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members, every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if all were one member, where were the body? 20 Whereas now there are indeed many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Yea, the members of the body, which appear to be weaker, are much more necessary. 23 And those which we think to be the less honourable parts of the body, these we surround with more abundant honour, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need; but God hath tempered the body together, giving more abundant honour to that which lacked: 25 That there might be no schism in the body, but that the members might have the same care for each other: 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members might suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members might rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in part. 28 And God hath set in the church, first, apostles, secondly, prophets, thirdly, teachers: afterward miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? have all miraculous powers?

Ephesians 4:11

11 And he gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers;

1 Peter 4:9-11

9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every one hath received a gift, so minister it one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man minister, let him minister as of the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified thro' Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the might for ever and ever. Amen.
