³⁰ And behold two blind men sitting by the way-side, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

²⁷ And when Jesus passed thence, two blind men followed him, crying and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. ²⁸ And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith to them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord. ²⁹ Then he touched their eyes, saying, Be it unto you, according to your faith. ³⁰ And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. ³¹ But when they were gone out, they spread his fame in all that country.

²² Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb; and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. ²³ And the multitude were amazed and said, Is not this the Son of David?

²² And behold a woman of Canaan, of those coasts, came and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David: my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

⁹ And the multitudes that went before and that followed after cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David; blessed in the name of the Lord is he that cometh: Hosanna in the highest.

¹⁴ And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

⁴² Whose son is he? They say to him, David's.

⁴⁶ And they come to Jericho. And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way-side begging.

Having said this, ⁶ he spit on the ground, and made clay with the spittle, and anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, ⁷ And said to him, Go wash at the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went therefore, and washed, and came seeing. ⁸ Then the neighbours and they who had seen him before, when he was blind, said, Is not this he who used to sit begging? ⁹ Some said, This is he: others, He is like him: but he said, I am he. ¹⁰ They said to him, How were thine eyes opened? ¹¹ He answered and said, A man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes, and said to me, Go to the pool of Siloam and wash. ¹² And I went, and washed, and received sight. Then said they to him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, That of the fruit of his loins one should sit on his throne,
