⁷ For ye have the poor always with you, and when ye will, ye may do them good; but me ye have not always.

³⁵ For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: ³⁶ I was a stranger, and ye took me in; Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? ³⁸ When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? ³⁹ Or when saw we thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? ⁴⁰ And the king shall answer and say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye did it to me. ⁴¹ Then shall he say also to them on his left-hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. ⁴² For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: ⁴³ I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited me not. ⁴⁴ Then shall they also answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not micister to thee? ⁴⁵ Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it oot to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

¹¹ She hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

⁷ Then Jesus said, Let her alone; against the day of my burial hath she kept this. ⁸ Ye have the poor always with you: but me ye have not always.

³³ Little children, yet a little while I am with you: ye shall seek me, and as I said to the Jews, Whither I go ye cannot come, so now I say to you.

⁵ But now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

²⁸ I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and go to the Father.

¹¹ And I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep thro' thy name them whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

²¹ who was before appointed, Whom heaven must receive, till the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets.

¹³ (Who, by experiment of this administration, glorify God for your avowed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal communication to them and to all men.) ¹⁴ And by their prayer for you, who long after you, for the exceeding grace of God, which is in you.

⁷ For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

¹⁴ What doth it profit, my brethren, tho' a man say he hath faith, and have not works? ¹⁵ Can that faith save him? If a brother or a sister be naked, ¹⁶ and want daily food, And one of you say to them, Depart in peace; be ye warmed and filled, but give them not the things needful for the body, what doth it profit?

¹⁶ Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ¹⁷ But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? ¹⁸ My beloved children, let us love not in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth. ¹⁹ And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
