²² And the beggar died and was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died and was buried:

¹¹ And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

³⁸ The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom, but the darnel are the children of the wicked one. ³⁹ The enemy that sowed them is the devil: the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the angels. ⁴⁰ As therefore the darnel are gathered and burnt with fire, so shall it be in the end of this world. ⁴¹ The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them that do iniquity. ⁴² And shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. ⁴³ Then shall the righteous shine forth as the Sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

¹⁰ See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in heaven their angels continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

³¹ And he shall send forth his angels, with a loud-sounding trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

³⁶ For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

²⁰ But God said to him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: and whose shall the things be that thou hast provided?

²³ Now there was lying in the bosom of Jesus, one of the disciples whom Jesus loved.

²⁰ Peter turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, who is he that betrayeth thee?

¹⁴ Are they not all ministring spirits, sent forth to serve for them who shall inherit salvation?

¹⁴ Since then the children partake of flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil:

¹¹ For the sun arose with a burning heat, and withered the grass, and the flower fell off, and the beauty of it's appearance perished: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

²⁴ Who himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sin might live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of heaven, saying to me, Write: From henceforth happy are the dead who die in the Lord: Yea (saith the Spirit) that they may rest from their labours. Their works follow them.
