¹³ But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to Salvation, thro' sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

⁷⁵ to serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

⁵ your love to all the saints) For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,

¹ In the beginning existed the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

⁴⁴ Ye are of your father the devil, and your will is, to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth; for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it. ⁴⁵ But because I speak the truth, ye believe me not. ⁴⁶ Which of you convicteth me of sin? And if I speak the truth, why do ye not believe me?

⁶ Jesus saith, I am the way; and the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me.

⁴⁸ And the Gentiles hearing it were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

⁹ And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

⁷ who are beloved of God, called and holy, Grace to you, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ, for you all, that your faith is spoken of through the whole world.

¹⁷ But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were the servants of sin, ye have now obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine into which ye have been delivered.

⁴ ) Knowing, beloved brethren, your election of God.

⁹ For God hath not appointed us to wrath,

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.

¹⁰ And with all deceiveableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

¹² That they all may be condemned, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God even our Father, who hath loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope thro' grace,

⁹ not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus, before the world began;

¹⁵ Be diligent to present thyself unto God approved a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

¹⁵ And that from an infant thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, thro' faith which is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ And, Thou, Lord, hast in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.

¹⁸ Of his own will begat he us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

² Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Elect (according to the fore-knowledge of God the Father) thro' sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be multiplied to you. ³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his abundant mercy, hath begotten us again to a living hope, by the resurrection of Christ from the dead, ⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, ⁵ Who are kept by the power of God thro' faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁰ Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son, a propitiation for our sins.

¹⁹ He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.
