⁶ (40:11)Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

¹ Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

³ Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous around him. ⁴ He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

¹⁸ For ye are not come to the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor to blackness, and to darkness, and tempest, ¹⁹ And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard, entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: ²⁰ (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up. ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy deportment and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hasting to the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
