³² The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveler.

² And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. ³ And he urged them greatly; and they turned in to him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

¹⁵ And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodge.

²⁰ And the old man said, Peace be with thee; however, let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street. ²¹ So he brought him into his house, and gave provender to the asses: and they washed their feet and ate and drank.

¹⁰ Well reported of for good works; if she hath brought up children, if she hath lodged strangers, if she hath washed the saints' feet, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.

² Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for by this some have entertained angels unawares.
