¹⁴ “Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

¹³ Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will work for you today; for you will never again see the Egyptians whom you have seen today.

⁶ Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering. ⁷ He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing. ⁸ He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them. ⁹ He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it. ¹⁰ He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness. ¹¹ The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke. ¹² He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab. ¹³ By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent. ¹⁴ Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

²⁴ “Remember that you magnify his work, about which men have sung.

¹⁰ “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”

² Yahweh’s works are great, pondered by all those who delight in them.

⁵ I will meditate on the glorious majesty of your honor, on your wondrous works. ⁶ Men will speak of the might of your awesome acts. I will declare your greatness.

¹⁰ All your works will give thanks to you, Yahweh. Your saints will extol you. ¹¹ They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power, ¹² to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

²⁰ But Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!”
