1 The word of the LORD Almighty came to me. 2 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'I am exceedingly jealous for Zion; I am jealous for it with great wrath.' 3 "This is what the LORD says: 'I will return to Zion and I will live in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem will be called "The City of Truth" and the mountain of the LORD of the Heavenly Armies will be called "The Holy Mountain".' 4 Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Old men and old women shall again sit in the public squares of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age. 5 and the streets of the city shall be filled with boys and girls playing in her streets. 6 Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Even if it seems impossible to the remnant of this people in those days, should it also seem impossible to me?' declares the LORD of hosts. 7 Thus said the LORD Almighty: "Behold! I will save my people from the land of the east and from the land of the west. 8 "I will bring them and they will live in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness!" 9 "Thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts: let your hands be strong, ye that now hear these words by the mouth of the prophets which be in these days that the foundation is laid upon the LORD of Hosts' house, that the temple may be builded. 10 For before these days there were no wages for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the enemy: for I set all men every one against his neighbor. 11 But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as in the former days,' declares the LORD of hosts. 12 "For the seed of peace and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things. 13 And it will be, as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, but let your hands be strong. 14 the LORD Almighty said: "I thought to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to anger. I have not relented," Said the LORD Almighty. 15 so again I have planned in these days to do good to Jerusalem and the house of Judah. Do not be afraid! 16 These are the things that ye do: Speak ye truth each with his neighbour, Truth and peaceful judgment judge in your gates, 17 Do not devise evil in your hearts against your neighbor, and do not love a false oath, because all these are things I hate," declares the LORD. 18 The word of the LORD of hosts came to me. 19 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "The fasts of the fourth fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace." 20 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come; 21 and the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to supplicate the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. 22 And many peoples and powerful nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat ⌊the favor of⌋ Yahweh.' 23 Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In those days ten men from all the nations of every language will take hold of the hem of a Judean man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you!" '"

Psalms 78:58-59

58 And so they grieved him with their high places, and provoked him with their images. 59 God heard and he was very angry and rejected Israel utterly.

Isaiah 42:13-14

13 The LORD will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. Zechariah 1:14-16

Zephaniah 3:14-20
