¹² Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.

² The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him. ³ The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. ⁴ "Pharaoh's chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea; his best officers sank in the Reed Sea. ⁵ the deep waters have covered them; they sank to the bottom as a stone. ⁶ Your right hand, LORD, was majestic in strength, your right hand, LORD, shattered the enemy. ⁷ In the greatness of your majesty you broke down your enemies. You sent forth your anger, it consumed them like stubble. ⁸ By the breath of your nostrils the waters were piled up, the flowing waters stood up like a hill, the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea. ⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be filled with them; I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them. ¹⁰ You blew with your breath, and the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. ¹¹ "Who is like you among the gods, LORD! Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, and working wonders! ¹² You stretched out your right hand, and the earth swallowed them. ¹³ In your loyal love you led the people whom you redeemed; in your strength you guided them to the abode of your holiness. ¹⁴ The nations heard, and were afraid. Pangs came upon the Philistines. ¹⁵ Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; the leaders of Moab were seized by trembling; all the dwellers of Canaan were melted.

⁵ ‘If you will obey me and are faithful to the terms of my covenant, then out of all the nations you will be my own special possession, for all the earth is mine. ⁶ but you, you will belong to me as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you will speak to the Israelites."

²¹ He has not seen iniquity in Jacob, neither has He seen perverseness in Israel. the LORD his God is with him, the shout of a king is among them. ²² God brought them out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of a wild ox.

²³ On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites. ²⁴ The hand of the Israelites prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan until they had destroyed him.

⁵ For he put his life in his hand and killed the Philistine and the LORD worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?

⁴ You are my King, my God, who commands victories for Jacob.

²² For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver. the LORD is our king; he is the one who will save us.

⁸ He said: They are my people, sons who will not lie to me. So he became their Savior.

¹² In fury you marched through the earth; in anger you trampled the nations. ¹³ You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah. ¹⁴ With his own lances you pierced the heads of his warriors, who came out like a windstorm to scatter us their joy is to devour the afflicted who are in hiding.
